  • Join the Rising Stars in Support of Make-A-Wish Canada

The Rising Stars Committee is a team of young professionals in the GTA, comprised of community-minded, driven individuals across all major sectors. True champions of our wish children, they plan and execute one or more fundraising events throughout the year.

In 2019, our inaugural event, A Night Under the Stars presented by Northern Financial Group, we danced the night away, savouring delicious food and drink, and enjoying a feature performance from Sarina Haggarty, a former wish recipient. Thanks to our 2019 committee and attendees, we raised over $60,000 to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Join the Rising Stars in support of Make-A-Wish® Canada

An ideal candidate has a passion for what we do, and is keen to engage their networks to build support for Make-A-Wish® in the community. Key responsibilities include event logistics, ticket sales, sponsorship, and marketing.

The group will work closely with, and be mentored by, our Corporate Cabinet. The Corporate Cabinet is a group of pace setting, leadership volunteers, comprised of influential leaders across all major sectors.
