Muhib’s wish was everything he wanted and more

Muhib is a kind and thoughtful boy who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). When he was going through chemotherapy, Make-A-Wish volunteers asked him to share what he wanted most in the world — and they were determined to make his wish come true.

Muhib is very close with his uncle, who was getting married that summer, and he wanted to get a tuxedo to wear for this special occasion. He also wanted to shop for a few things that would make this a summer to remember. Muhib decided to wish for the ultimate shopping spree to fulfill all of his dreams of a fun-filled summer!

On the day of his wish, Muhib was picked up in a white stretch limousine, and taken to Brooks Brothers, where he was fitted with his very own tuxedo. Upon his arrival at Brooks Brothers, he had his own staff designated to help him pick out his new clothes. His look was complete with a new tuxedo, dress shoes and a sharp looking bowtie.

Muhib later shopped for more clothing at Hudson’s Bay, Foot Locker and Tommy Hilfiger. The next stop was the Apple Store, where he picked out some new tech items including an iPad, Beats headphones, and earbuds. The final stop was at SportChek, where he received a brand new bike — the perfect gift for a boy who loves to spend lots of time outdoors!

Thank you to our partner, Dave & Buster’s, for adopting Muhib’s wish and making his dreams come true.
